Barkbox Review: It’s no secret that dogs are man’s best friend. As dog owners, we consider our four-legged friends to be part of the family, and when they’re happy – we’re happy.
And what makes dogs happy – car rides? Belly rubs? Toys? Treats? Well, you can’t fit car rides & belly rubs in a box, but if you want treats & toys, Barkbox has you covered!
What Is Barkbox?
Per Barkbox.com, it’s a “…box of dog joy delivered monthly from the dog-obsessed Bark family directly to dogs and their people.” This description is 100% accurate!
Barkboxes are your monthly supply of fun toys and tasty treats for your favorite pup delivered right to your door! Each box comes with its own “theme” for its treats and toys.
The themes can be seasonal, like their Dogsgiving box (for Thanksgiving, of course), or they can be more creative like their Chewrassic Park box or Spiderman – No Way Home box.
Each month is a different theme, & you can choose to sneak a peak & see what’s coming, or be surprised when it hits your doorstep!
What comes in a Barkbox?
Each box comes with 2 toys and 2 bags of treats that fit into the monthly theme. They also add a chew for your pup in each box!
This is a paw-some value, considering that you get 2 bags of treats, 2 toys, and a chew!
What I LOVE about Barkbox treats & chews is that they’re all-natural, & are made with nutritious ingredients for your pup. Per their site, all treats and chews are made in the USA & Canada – which is something we love to hear!
Sometimes they’ll toss in a fun freebie for your pup as well, like a bandana. Bo got a free pop-up travel bowl set as a freebie from them before, & it’s come in handy for park days & car rides!
How Do I Order?
To order, head to the Barkbox site. On the landing page, you may see a promotion or offer such as, “Free Dog Bed with multi-month subscription,” or “1 Free Month with 12 month Subcsription.” Their offers change often, but be sure to snag one!
To get the offer, be sure to click on the “Claim Offer” button or link next to or attached to it.
From there, you’ll be prompted to answer questions about your pup, such as his size, breed, birthday, & also if he or she has any allergies. This helps Barkbox craft the PAW-fect box for your best friend!
You’ll need to enter your email, & choose your subscription type. The options are 12 month, 6 month, & monthly – but the BEST value is the 12 month box at the price of $23 per box. (I could spend $23 on just one toy at the store!)
To add an extra toy for just $7 per month, just click “Yes, please” when prompted during the sign up process, & then choose the theme of your first box. If you want the luck of the draw, just click, “Surprise me!“
To complete your subscription process, enter your contact info as requested, and then enter your credit card or Paypal info for payment.
Click “Buy Now“, & you’re all set to receive your monthly box of joy!
