You’ve probably read a few (hundred) articles about Keto by now, so let me make it simple for ya: Snacking on Keto does NOT have to be complicated. Here are some of my favorite keto snacks that I eat on the reg.
Whether you’re looking for keto snacks that are easy, good on the go, salty, savory, or sweet, there’s something on this list for you!
1. Raw Veggies

Seems like a no brainer, right? Pair some raw broccoli, celery, cucumber, carrots, and cauliflower with keto-friendly ranch dip, & you have the PERFECT snack.
PRO TIP: Prep your veggies for the week ahead.
If you’re like me, you need to prep some grab n’ go containers for the week to make sure you actually EAT your veggies. You know, instead of avoiding their judgey glare from the crisper as you reach for the cheese drawer, AGAIN.
Need to know what other veggies are keto-friendly? Check out this post: A Total Beginner’s Guide to Keto.
2. Cheese

If cheese wasn’t allowed on Keto, I would NOT be making it, folks. Cheese is the food-world equivalent of gold, IMO.
How to snack it: Individually wrapped string cheeses, cheese cubes (yes, they do pre-package cubed cheese), sliced block cheese, OR – my personal fave – eating shredded cheese straight out of the bag.
What should you pair it with? Check out #3 ๐
3. Hard Salami or Beef Sticks

Hard salami and beef sticks are both great choices for easy snacks on keto. They’re a great source of both fats and protein – just be sure to pay attention to sugar content. You don’t need meats with a bunch of added sugar.
And don’t forget to pair it with that cheese ๐
4. Almonds

Almonds are an easy snack when I’m on the go. Especially if I don’t want anything heavy – just something to power through until dinner.
Pro Tip: I always get a decent sized bag of Almonds with Sea Salt (usually from Aldi), and either keep it in my car or my purse. That way I don’t have an excuse to drop unnecessary $$ at the gas station for a snack.
5. Yogurt (Low Carb / Low Sugar)

It took me awhile to find my favorite yogurt, but BY FAR, my pick is Two Good Greek Yogurt. It’s appropriately named, with only 2 grams of sugar (see what they did there?), and 3 grams of carbs.
This yogurt comes in a variety of flavors (my fave is strawberry), & supports a fantastic cause: “One Cup, Less Hunger,” which aims to fight both food waste, & food insecurity.
Visit their site here to learn more, and find Two Good Yogurt near you!
6. Pork Rinds

Pork Rinds, aka Chicharonnes, aka crunchy goodness = the best low carb “chip” option you’ve got, in my opinion. I use Pork Rinds instead of tortilla chips for scooping up all kinds of dips, and even as a plain snack.
Be advised: if you’re being strict on keto, be cautious of the “flavored” options (i.e., BBQ) as they may contain Maltodextrin…unless you’re buying these Pork King Pork Rinds (which are SO GOOD).
If you’re looking for Pork Rind Crumbs (to use like you would Panko Breadcrumbs or Flour), definitely put these Pork King Pork Rind Breadcrumbs in your Amazon cart, too!
7. HighKey Snacks
I’ve tried several different kinds of these HighKey snacks, & all of them have been AWESOME.
HighKey has a wide variety of cookies & sweet treats to choose from – check them out here.
Just an FYI: sweets on Keto are often made with sugar alcohols & other non-typical sweeteners (ones that don’t spike your blood sugar). Therefore, you’re going to get more of a melt-in-your-mouth sensation when you eat them, rather than the norm-type sensation you get with refined sugar sweets.
8. Whisps Cheese Crisps
You can make your own cheese crisps / crackers, but I’ll be honest with you: it’s a pain in the ass.
These cheese crisps satisfy that craving for chips, giving you a savory crunch, & also serving as a dip shovel instead of chips.
I am personally not the biggest fan of the straight cheddar or straight parmesan flavors of these, but give me some Tangy Ranch Whisps any day – I will DEMOLISH that sh**.
I highly recommend these – and bonus? You can Amazon Prime them here.
9. Quest Cookies
So I’ll just go ahead & say I friggin LOVE these. Are they dirty keto? Yes. But you can find these online, in some stores, and even some gas stations, & they totally satisfy the cookie craving for me.
Amazon’s Choice (as I write this, March of 2022) is this Quest Nutrition Chocolate Chip Protein Cookie pack. And yes, folks – it is available for Prime Delivery ๐
10. Dang Keto Toasted Coconut Chips
Fair warning: these are SO addictive. I could eat an entire bag of these in one sitting! These Dang Keto Toasted Coconut Chips are one of my absolute favorite keto snacks. Why?
Because there are only 2 simple ingredients: Coconut, & Sea Salt. That’s it, my friends. Not just that, but the taste is unbelievably friggin’ good.
It blows my mind every time I eat them that something SO simple (& keto-friendly) can taste that good.
Find them here on Amazon!
11. Lily’s Milk Chocolate Style Peanut Butter Cups
Raise your hand if you’re a recovering Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup addict โ
I’ve gone from hoovering down several packs of Reese’s a week to having a Lily’s Peanut Butter Cup treat as needed…
…because after breaking the refined sugar addiction, the almost drug-like pull of Reese’s hasn’t been the same, & these Lily’s treats are an AMAZING substitute when the mood strikes.
Add them to your Amazon order here!
12. Rebel Ice Cream

I’ve tried many different brands of “keto” ice cream – and most of them don’t hold up to the hype.
Rebel Ice Cream does, in the flavors I’ve tried. My favorites are the Triple Chocolate (shown above), and also the Mint Chip (…okay, so Mint Chip is my true favorite, TBH).
Make sure you follow their advice though – let the pint sit out for 5-15 minutes before eating.
Doing so will make the ice cream more creamy, less icy – which is a common gripe with keto ice creams.
I have never ordered this ice cream off Amazon – I usually get it from Schnucks, Walmart, or Kroger. But, there is a “Maverick” pack on Amazon, which includes one pint of each of these flavors:
- Cookies & Cream, Salted Caramel, Black Raspberry, Triple Chocolate, Cherry Chip, Coconut Almond Swirl, Peanut Butter Fudge, and Vanilla.
You can order the Maverick pack here from Amazon.
13. Cucumbers, Cream Cheese, & Everything Bagel Seasoning

This is quick & easy to throw together – just slice up a cucumber, and spread some whipped cream cheese on each slice. Sprinkle them with Everything Bagel Seasoning & –
Voila! *chef’s kiss*
14. Ham & Pickle Roll Ups

Another super simple one to throw together:
- Lay your (sandwich or thin sliced) ham flat, and spread a thin layer of whipped cream cheese over it. Then place a dill pickle spear at the edge of your ham, and roll it up in the ham & cream cheese.
You can leave it whole, or cut it into smaller pieces if you want to share. I won’t blame you if you don’t ๐
15. Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Fat Bombs

This no bake sweet treat will help curb those sugar cravings AND help you get your fats in!
16. Low Carb Shamrock Shake

Need a quick “ice cream” type of treat?
This Low Carb Shamrock Shake takes less than 5 minutes to make, and while it isn’t the REAL thing, it’s definitely a decent substitute.
17. Hard Boiled Eggs

Eggs are a great source of protein, & very filling! You can hard boil a batch of eggs, peel & rinse them, and store them in your fridge for an easy snack.
If you’re a deviled egg fan, you can always make those too – just make sure you’re using keto approved ingredients (like a Stevia or Erythritol, if you like them sweet).
18. Avocado

Avocado + Sea Salt = Perfection.
Need I say more?
19. Air Fried Low Carb Tortilla Chips

These are definitely dirty / lazy keto snacks, but they’re a fave of mine.
I like to take a pizza cutter & cut up some low carb tortillas, spritz them with a little olive oil & salt, & toss them in the air fryer for about 5-10 minutes until they’re crispy.
I love these plain, or with some cheddar cheese on top, or dipped in queso!
20. Bell Pepper Sandwich

If you’re an avid watcher of TikTok or Reels, you’ve definitely seen this trend – and for good reason.
Replace your “bread” on your normal sandwich with a halved (& de-seeded) bell pepper! It’s a great way to cut the carbs while still being able to have a simple snack / lunch option.

Yum, all sound amazing. I have done everything besides the Shamrock shake. That really sounds intriguing!
Thanks, Erin! Itโs one of my favorite quick โice creamโ keto hacks – super easy to make, & it satisfies that craving!
These are fantastic keto snack suggestions! My favorite to make is #13, but sometimes I use bell peppers. So good! I’ll have to try that shamrock shake, that looks really yummy! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed – and you should DEFINITELY try the shake ๐๐ป
